Sizing Guide
Will It Fit My Apple Watch?
Our bands use the small connector. That means one Olivia's Lane band fits every Apple Watch in the table below. No guessing. No choosing between sizes. If your watch is on the green list, every band in our store fits it.
Compatible Apple Watches ✓
| Your Apple Watch | Case Size | Compatible? |
|---|---|---|
| Series 1, 2, 3 | 38mm | ✓ Yes |
| Series 4, 5, 6, SE (1st & 2nd gen) | 40mm | ✓ Yes |
| Series 7, 8, 9 | 41mm | ✓ Yes |
| Series 10, 11 | 42mm | ✓ Yes |
All four sizes use the same band connector. One band. Four generations. Zero compatibility issues.
Not Compatible ✗
| Apple Watch | Case Size | Why Not |
|---|---|---|
| Series 1, 2, 3 | 42mm | Large connector. Different from Series 10 42mm. |
| Series 4, 5, 6, SE | 44mm | Large connector. |
| Series 7, 8, 9 | 45mm | Large connector. |
| Series 10, 11 | 46mm | Large connector. |
| Ultra, Ultra 2 | 49mm | Large connector. |
We only make bands for petite wrists. Every design decision, from the width to the weight to the buckle position, is optimized for 38-42mm cases on small wrists. No compromises.
Wait. Series 10 is 42mm. But Series 3 was 42mm too. What?
This is the most confusing thing Apple has ever done with sizing. Here's what happened:
Series 1/2/3 (42mm) = Large connector. This is the OLD 42mm. It uses the same bands as 44mm, 45mm, and 49mm Ultra.
Series 10/11 (42mm) = Small connector. This is the NEW 42mm. It uses the same bands as 38mm, 40mm, and 41mm.
Same number. Different connector. Not interchangeable.
If you have a Series 10 or 11 (42mm), our bands fit perfectly. If you have a Series 1, 2, or 3 (42mm), our bands will NOT fit. That watch uses the large connector.

Wrist Size Guide
Our bands fit wrists from 130mm to 170mm. That's the petite range.
Not sure? Grab a flexible measuring tape or a piece of string:
- Wrap it around your wrist where you normally wear your watch
- Don't pull tight. Snug, not squeezing.
- Mark where it meets
- Measure against a ruler in millimeters
| Wrist Size | Fit |
|---|---|
| Under 130mm | May be slightly loose. Try the tightest buckle hole. |
| 130mm to 150mm | Perfect fit. Sweet spot for our bands. |
| 150mm to 170mm | Perfect fit. Most adjustment options available. |
| Over 170mm | May be too snug. Our bands are designed for petite wrists only. |
No measuring tape? Print our wrist sizer (link to printable PDF). Cut it out, wrap it around your wrist, and read the number. Make sure you print at 100% scale, not "fit to page."
How Tight Should My Band Be?
The two-finger test: After fastening your band, slide two fingers between the band and your wrist.
- Can't fit two fingers? Too tight. Go one hole looser. A tight band blocks sensors and cuts circulation.
- Fits two fingers comfortably? Perfect. Your watch stays in place and the heart rate sensor works properly.
- Fits three or more? Too loose. Go one hole tighter. Your watch will slide and notifications will miss your wrist.
For accurate heart rate and blood oxygen readings, Apple recommends wearing the watch snug but comfortable on the top of your wrist, about one finger width above your wrist bone.
Quick Compatibility Check
Answer one question:
Is your Apple Watch case size 38mm, 40mm, 41mm, or 42mm (Series 10/11)?
- Yes → Every band in our store fits your watch. Pick any color, any material, any collection. Done.
- No → Our bands aren't designed for your watch. We only make petite sizes. We'd rather be honest than sell you something that doesn't fit our design intent.
